pharmacology.tv is run by ResearchPlexus, a sole proprietorship of Paresh Girdharlal Koli (“we”, “us”), of 303, 3rd floor, Mahesh Building, N M Joshi Marg, Bakri Adda, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400011. GSTIN: 27BHVPK4510L1ZV. This policy explains what personal data we handle when you use this website and PharmaCAL, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

  • Students using PharmaCAL for learning: nothing that identifies you. Your experiment records and saved sessions stay in your own browser.
  • Students in a college exam: the name and roll number you enter, your exam answers and the actions you take in the experiment, so your college can mark and review the exam.
  • College staff: your name, email address and a secure hash of your password, and a sign-in cookie while you are signed in.
  • Subscribers and buyers (when payments open): your name, email, billing details and payment records. Card and bank details go to the payment provider, not to us.
  • Messages you send us: what you write and your contact details.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

How we use it

Only to provide the services you or your college asked for: running and marking exams, managing licences and subscriptions, answering messages, sending invoices, and keeping the services secure. We do not sell personal data, show advertising, or use tracking cookies.

Who we share it with

  • Your college, for its own exams and staff accounts.
  • Service providers who process data for us: Cloudflare (hosting and storage) and, when payments open, our payment provider.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Exam records are kept for the college’s licence period and up to one year after, unless the college asks us to delete them sooner. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. Messages are kept as long as needed to deal with them.

Your rights

You can ask us for a summary of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Students should usually ask their college first, since the college controls its exam records. To make a request or a complaint, contact our grievance officer: support@pharmacology.tv. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Our services are meant for college students and teachers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 except through a college that has the required consent.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and access to exam data is limited to the college’s staff and to us for support.

Changes and contact

We will post any changes on this page with a new date. Email support@pharmacology.tv, or write to us at the address above. You can also use our contact page.
